We Love Bob Mould
Guitarist/singer/songwriter Bob Mould was originally a founding member of Hüsker Dü, easily one of the most influential American bands of the eighties. Hüsker Dü could have been described as post-hardcore punk, and they definitely forged a new sound and direction for alternative rock music.

These Days
After the break up of Hüsker Dü in 1988, Bob Mould signed a solo deal with Virgin. In 1989, he put out his first solo album, Workbook, which was strangely quiet after the loudness of Hüsker Dü . Workbook even had strings. The album received star reviews and was on the charts for 14 weeks, reaching 127. "See a Little Light" was a hit single on college radio.
